Buttercream Frosting

One of the simplest frostings to make is also very versatile.  A simple vanilla cake becomes beautiful with swirls of buttercream frosting in your favorite color.  You can add extra vanilla for that sweet classic icing, you could use lemon if you prefer tart...you will always end up with a cake frosting everyone will love.

The first time I tried cookie butter, I did not think it was extraordinary...friends raved, my kids asked me to buy jars and jars...then I spent an afternoon experimenting in the kitchen and toyed with the idea of cookie butter cupcakes and this is why I now enjoy cookie butter!  Here they are.

Companion Cubes

These cute companion cube cupcakes were made upon request. My former professor and now "tita-in-law" had a fantastic theme for her daughter's birthday celebration.  I actually did not know what they were and I had to do some research...and consultation with my kids.
